Bridgeway is committed to create and support a positive, student-centered, learning environment while delivering quality programs with integrity and professionalism.
Our students learn to care for a variety of patients in acute and chronic care settings. Inspired by the ministry of Jesus Christ, our students strive to make a difference in patient's lives, driven for excellence through true compassion and principle.

Human Dignity: Unconditional respect for the inherent worth, uniqueness, and autonomy of individuals.
Integrity: Displaying strong moral character and acting in accordance with accepted standards of behavior and an appropriate code of ethics.
Inquiry: An active process of exploration and investigation that leads to understanding and construction of knowledge throughout one's life.
03. Statement of Faith
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

At Bridgeway School of Nursing, we strive to hold fast to this verse in conjunction with all the teachings of the Bible, including the Trinity, Christ’s crucifixion for the atonement of sins, Christ’s resurrection and coming return, Sola Scriptura, and Sola Fide.
The nursing field is filled with long days and busy nights. God is our guide to how to navigate through obstacles, clinging to His promise of reaping joyful profit, and, in the case of our students, through academic hardships. With these principles in mind, we hope to treat everyone and teach others how we treat everyone with Christ-like care.
04. Nursing Philosphy
“The spirit in which she does her work makes all the difference. Invested as she shared with the dignity of her profession, and the cloak of love for suffering. Humanity, she can and Noble anything her hand may be called upon to do, and for work done in this, very there will ever come to her a recompense far outweighs that of silver and gold.” (Hampton Hampton. Robb , 1900, p.36)
Program Philosophy
History shows that caring and compassion was an essential factor in the nursing profession that encouraged excellence in character, knowledge and skills. With this belief, nurses can practice to the highest level of care in helping individuals maintain or return to a level of independence. To achieve this goal, faculty members believe in encouraging students to strive towards excellence in nursing care.
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12).
“I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was a prisoner and you came to me.” (Matthew 25:36)
We believe nursing should extend the hands of Christ wherever and to whomever may have the need.
